Hear from Students

LARC is one of the best campus resources, and is definitely worth it! LARC is a special environment that encourages learning in smaller groups. LARC has helped me as a student and I have been a part of LARC since I was a freshman.

2020 - 2021 Student Evaluation

I highly recommend enrolling in LARC! It has definitely helped me succeed in my courses and better prepare myself for future exams.

2020 - 2021 Student Evaluation

LARC is awesome! Getting help from someone who just recently took the course is superior to any other form of tutoring I have tried. Plus, explaining topics to peers has been a great way to solidify my knowledge of the subject.

2020 - 2021 Student Evaluation

LARC is one of the best resources the campus has to offer. It makes you feel less scared about your classes and exams. It gives you a change of mindset on your study skills and your own personal abilities/skills. If it weren’t for LARC I definitely would not feel as confident about passing some of my classes.

2020 - 2021 Student Evaluation

“I’ve participated in a LARC session practically my entire time at UCI and it immensely helps my focus on the class along with improving my confidence overall. It’s where I meet a lot of like-minded individuals and found my amazing study buddy.”

2020 - 2021 Student Evaluation

“This LARC tutorial is my first one and it has helped me out so much. I have already seen an increase in my grade and the leader is very optimistic about everything and makes everyone feel included and doesn’t make them feel bad about getting anything wrong.”
